あの時は明日どころか

1時間後どうなるかすら不安だった

明るいところで

気軽にメッセージが送れる

今日という日常に感謝

I couldn’t even tell
what would happen an hour from now—
let alone tomorrow.

I can sit in the light
and casually send a message.

For this ordinary day,
I’m grateful.

相対的に見れば

今日も平和で

愛に溢れた毎日を過ごしている

だけど

時々ふと思う

いや、やっぱり胸にしまっておこう

Relatively speaking,
today was peaceful.

my days are filled with love.

a thought suddenly crosses my mind—

長い1週間だった

今夜帰ったら

たまには湯船を溜めて

音楽聴きながら

アイスも持ち込んで

ゆっくり半身浴しよう

君のことを思い出す時間があってもいいじゃない



“Once in a While”

It’s been a long week.

When I get home tonight,
maybe I’ll fill the bathtub for once,
put on some music,
bring in some ice cream,

and just soak there slowly.

Once in a while,
it’s okay to spend a little time
thinking about you.

もう間に合わない

絶対遅刻だ、怒られる、、

昨日の夜からついてないな、、、

ここから走っても次の電車には間に合わない

自転車はパンクしたままだし、タクシーなんて走ってない

ウサイン・ボルトなら間に合ったかな

なんてくだらないことを思っていると

目の前にチャリが停まってる

鍵はかかってない



“One Small Hope”

It’s too late.
I’m definitely going to be late. I’ll get yelled at.

My luck’s been off since last night…

Even if I run from here,
I won’t catch the next train.
My bike still has a flat tire,
and there isn’t a taxi in sight.

Maybe Usain Bolt could’ve made it.

As I’m thinking something that stupid—

right in front of me,
there’s a bicycle,
unlocked.

“欲望”


駅近の高層マンション

とてもじゃないけど手が出ない

駅から徒歩15分のアパート

ここなら背伸びすれば自分のものにできるかも

高層マンションの方がずっといいのに

アパートの方が無性に欲しい

私の欲望は聞き分けがいい


“Desire”

A high-rise condo near the station—
there’s no way I could ever afford it.

An apartment fifteen minutes on foot—
if I stretch myself a little,
it might be within reach.

The high-rise is obviously better.

And yet,
it’s the apartment
I find myself wanting most.

My desires
are surprisingly well-behaved.
