“冬支度”


木々が冬に向けて

準備している

それに合わせて

動物たちも備えを始める

人の冬支度は

冬服と布団を出すだけ

あっという間に終わる

侘しいなと思いながら

エアコンをつける


“Preparing for Winter”

The trees begin
to ready themselves for winter,
and the animals, too,
start their careful preparations.

Humans, though—
we take out warm clothes
and a thick blanket,
done in no time.

Feeling oddly empty about it,
I switch on the heater.
