“夢見る心”



夢を見るな、現実を見ろと言われ

つまらない人生だな、夢を見ろよとも言われる

どちらも正しいのだろうけど

どちらも心には響かない

うるさいなと顔面にパンチを喰らわせる

そんな夢を見る心は持っている


“A Dreaming Heart”

“Stop dreaming—face reality,” they say.
“Don’t be so dull—dream a little,” they say.

They’re probably both right,
but neither of them
really reaches me.

It’s so loud—
I throw a punch at their face.

At least,
I still have a heart
that can dream like that.
